CHOO CHOO IS BRINGING 60IES GARAGE APPEAL BACK into today’s pop music. Drawing infl uences from 60ies Teenage Beat, Pop and Soul to contemporary Garage Rock, these kids from Berne, Switzerland brew their very own blend of STEAM POWERED GARAGE POP!

The band saw the day of light in 2006. Three of its members used to play in former swiss garage rock band GLOWFI.

On March 10th their selftitled debut will be released by Subversiv Records in Switzerland. The release will be followed by live appearances all over Switzerland as well as a short tour through France and Italy in April. A release outside Switzerland is currently in the making. CHOO CHOO’s debutalbum was recorded, mixed, produced and mastered by Jim Diamond at famous Ghetto Recorders in Detroit, MI in September 2007. Yes, that’s the place where the White Stripes pinned their first two albums, where Mooney Suzuki did their first fullength and where the Dirtbombs have done all of their great recordings. With the help of Jim Diamond, CHOO CHOO put on tape 11 instant Garage Pop classics and Fuzz Stompers sure to make you wanna dance and sing along.
